I'm 23 years old and have had heavy periods, heavy bleeding between periods, and severe pelvic pain for the past year. I have already had a pelvic ultrasound and laparoscopy and my last doctor said she found nothing wrong. (I have also been on 4 different birth control pills which haven't helped) Now to my question, my new doctor wants to do a hysterosonogram. I have read about others that have had this done and say that it is extremely painful. I already have severe pelvic pain almost all the time and am wondering if that will make the hysterosonogram even worse. Can anyone who has had this procedure offer me any advice? How much does it really hurt? Thanks!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
