Thanks to all who help me on this

I am a sixteen year old male and for the past 4-6 months or more i have had two red circular marks, one on the underside of my penis shaft and the other on the left side of my penis shaft. Very recently small, colourless, spot like dots are appearing below them.

I am currently sexually active with my girlfriend using protection but she cannot be considered the cause anyway as these the dots were there before i started with her but thought nothing of them because they don't itch, hurt or stick out. It's just really bugging me as the only other cases i've heard of are on the head of the penis.

About 6 months before i noticed these dots i did have protected sex with another girl, if i was allergic to latex i think i would have noticed more problem than this.

And one more thing just to ask is that the underside of my penis shaft has darkened slightly in colour as though a rash could emerged it is only sometimes itchy but this may be caused from shaving the hairs on my testicles of which my penis lays on??

Please give me some help here
Thanks

  • Since it's not normal to have red dots on your penis, you should not continue to have sex until you get a proper diagnosis and it clears up. That means having a doctor take a look at it. Even with protection, you could pass the herpes virus. It sounds as if it is always with you and herpes comes and goes, so it depends. Does it come and go? If so, probably herpes. Does it always stay, then maybe a fungus or molluscum contagium. Rashes also indicate syphilis. You should get a blood test for herpes 2 and syphilis, to rule that out for sure, but you have to ask for it. You can try an over the counter anti-fungal to see if that clears it up. When your blood work comes back, you also need to call to get the results; not all doctors offices are good about calling back with test results.

  • No they don't come and go, since i noticed them they've just stayed flat red dots about 3-4 mm in size. A lot of the suggestions of my problem are that i've got an std but i find it hard to believe because my current girlfriend was a virgin before we had sex and she's a very clean girl. The last time i had sex with a girl who wasn't a virgin was over a year ago and i noticed the dots only six months ago, i'm not sure if this helps the diagnosis but i felt i should say. Thanks a lot for replyingF

  • It only takes one time of unprotected sex with someone with a disease to get it. Symptoms can come on months or years later. It sounds like it might be molloscum contagioum. Check under skin conditions for extensive discussions. It could also be a fungus--try the OTC. Once again, you need to stop having sex until you see a doctor, unless your girlfriend already has it. It could also be syphilis, so you need a blood test for that. Once you find out what you have, your girlfriend needs to be checked for it, too. You can see a doctor for free at your local county health department, std clinic. Don't wait.

  • I am 18 years old i had a weekend thing. With this girl and we had sex with no condom. She said she was on brith control. Now i have some red dots on the right side of my ***k and some on the base right below it to and there are only ten, they dont hurt or itch. But i am worried about it i have read on some stds and still there is nothing about that on the websites i need help to fine out or get a idea of what they are, if it is something that will be a problem or something that will go away and not hurt me or any girls i am with. I asked the girl if she had anything she said no but i dont know what to do i am really worried about it and it bothers me so if you can tell me what they are i would really like to know i just seen them there about two days ago and it started as one and now ten.

  • My husband had a similar issue and he used an antifungal creme and it went away... also when I worked at a day care (I have two boys, so I've sort of become an expert on penis care >.<) some boys would get yeast infections on the exterior shaft part and I'd think this would be more common on a man who shaved and was sexually active (we womens are very yeasty) So try monistat and antifungal? That should cover the over the counter bases so to speak...
