Pregnancy yes or no?

Dear Friends,

My girlfriend was pregnant a year ago, and it was ended 10 months ago. She was supposed to have a D&C but that never occurred... She highly dislikes Doctors

She has been having symptoms of pregnancy again, though we have not had intercourse in some time. It is almost unbelievable that she could be, but I know how mother nature works.

She has a belly, eating and craving much. Though she has been having very strange cravings since her last ordeal. They've been unending, she will not see a Doctor in regards to them either. Though I try to do my best with what I can.

I'm deeply concerned for and I'm curious if there are any other things that can mimic pregnancy? She is very ill and that is a very bad time but I'm hoping that it is merely misfortune and hormones. Though I'm not sure that it could be. I've told her that an OBGYN and testing is a prerequisite but she is very very stubborn. I would really appreciate it if someone might shed light into the mysterious world of a woman's body as I have never thought it so very odd until now. Even having been raised around 5 women!

  • I highly doubt shes pregnant if you havent actually had sex in a while. plus a woman can only get pregnant at one point during her cycle fourteen days before her next period.Hormones in a womans body sometimes do send out signals for weird food cravings every now and again anyway women are just like that at times. This may have nothing at all to do with pregnancy or menstruation she needs to get checked out, doctors are there for a reason and if she doesnt go soon she could get seriously ill.Try a pregnancy test and if its negative it might hit home that she needs to see a doctor if thats a no go maybe you could go on her behal and see your local doctor tell them her symptoms and whats going on oh and explain that she doesnt like doctors and you cant get her down there the doctor could have a diagnosis it could be simple, but it also could need an examination.

  • Yes, pregnancy tests are cheap. Why won't you get her one? If she is pregnant, she needs to know and eat a proper diet and take care of the child before it is born.

  • I highly doubt that she is pregnant if you havnt been sleeping with her for the past while unless she is cheating on you.and no having the D&C can cause lots of problem I know this because I worked with an OB/GYN and I'm in school to be one but anyways you are told to get a D&C because pieces of the baby can be left inside the uterus because an abortion is a blind surgery the dr. dosnt see what hes doing and the d%c is the same thing but just getting the left oversbut anyways when there is something (aka a piece of a baby) left indside your uterus it can cause major problems i suggest that she needs to see a dr weather or not shes stubborn this could end up being very serious.

  • She should just do an at home pregnancy test. or go to a pregnancy crisis center and they will give her one for free. those are your best bets if she does not want to see a doctor
