Hello after seeing two docs I'm even more confused. Sorry to be graphic but I feed feedback regarding my situation. 8/4/13 I had protected vaginal sex. Oral was given and received. 8/6 throat began to feel strange. 8/8 blister appeared under nose.8/10 had thorough exam and labs drawn.8/15 went in for results Hsv1 positive ( I was aware, had cold sores on/off since 10).and hsv2 positive. Extremely shocked! Results from LabCorp stated levels 0.95 and below are negative. I was a 0.96. Doc gave me meds for blister under nose nothing for below.

8/17 got a call that throat culture was positive for bacteria infection. 8/18 went to new doc he read my results and determined ig indicated I was negative for hsv2. Said bc I was having a 1 outbreak it created a false positive for 2. He repeated test and ig came back negative for hsv2. Yesterday inside my buttocks felt strange. Today it's burning maybe a 1 on a scale of 1-10. I'm going to the er today but want feedback. How could I be hsv2 negative and have this symptom. I don't have any flu like symptoms feel good otherwise. Please any help on this is greatly appreciated. Also did I test too soon?
