I've been diagnosed w/ preipheral neuropathy which I am not doubting, and until the past few months I could experience sexual pleasure(although over the years I've noticed a slowly creeping lack of sensation in the penis). Just recently I tried to have sex and could barely feel any feeling. I took Viagra so the erection was no problem, but I felt almost no sensation-as if I was disassoiated from the sex act. I need help, please. Does anyone have insight into this phenomena?

  • I would make sure to go to the Dr and be checked for diabetes. This could cause this type of problem.

  • because you stated you are taking Viagra, can we safely assume you are experiencing erectile dysfunction? I basically know nothing from your case, but with peripheral neuropathy + erectile dysfunction it sounds as if you're experiencing some of the long-term damaging effects of diabetes on the vasculature. I assume at this point you know your diabetic status...we' be interested to hear more about your case!
