last year of november, i began feeling something painful in the left side of my pelvic area. when i press it, the more it feels painful. this would go on for about 3 days then would just suddenly disappear. after exactly one month, the pain recurred in the same area, and so on in the following month of january. since then i haven't noticed any recurrence of pains until last month of june where everytime i have sex with my boyfriend there is pain in the same side of my pelvic area. i don't know what's happening to me and i haven't consulted any doctor yet coz i'm not sure if this is just normal. please help if this is endometriosis. from its symptoms, i think i experience most of them like having painful bowel movement or urination during menstruation, and having painful cramps, sort of dysmenorrhea, but i don't have heavy flow.

i'm kind of worried now coz during sex the pain really cuts through me that i have to tell my boyfriend to be gentle or sometimes to stop just momentarily for me to relax. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

  • I agree...you may actually have ovarian cysts, which can be very painful. I would see a doctor next time you have the pain to get a definative diagnosis. They are usually treated with birth control pills, or if they are very large they may need to be surgically drained.Just a theory, if you are already on birth control then I have no idea.Hope this helps!

  • Go to your free clinic and both you and your boyfriend get checked for STDs. Next, if all negative, then you need a pap and an ultrasound. You have a medical problem. Are you pregnant?
