Hi everyone, I am a 23 y/o sexually active female. I'm not on the pill although I was about a year ago for some time. In 2007 I had a d&c and I've had no prior or subsequent pregnancies. Also, I had a UTI at the beginning of Feb, but I was put on antibiotics for it and it cleared up quickly. About a week ago, I started to feel some discomfort on my left pelvic region. If I lie down on my back and press lightly I can feel something swollen.. Not a lump however, more like a tube.. The region of my back almost directly behind this area is paining as well. The pain is not debilitating or prevents me from doing anything, however, it is annoying and obviously worrisome. The pain comes and goes and this has been happening for quite some time. I went by a gyno about a month ago and she did a routine check up, including an ultrasound and a pap smear. She said that she could not find any thing wrong and no reason for the pain and the pap smear results were normal. However, she did say that I could have experienced the pain due to being constipated, but I don't think that I am, as I go to the bathroom fairly regularly. I'm considering going to another gyno for a second opinion. Is there anyone who can help me though???
