Painless bump on labia - could it be herpes?? Please help...

Yesterday while taking a shower I noticed a small bump on my inner labia. I looked at the closer with a mirror and saw that it is small and the same pinkish/brown color as my vaginal area. It is located on the edge of the labia minora, right where the vagina opens. It is painless and does not burn, sting or itch or anything. It is making me very upset and causing me to have anxiety attacks because i am afraid it might be herpes. I last had sex 2 months ago and we did not use protection. I am going to call a doctor tomorrow but I probably won't be able to get in for 2 weeks since I have my period coming up in a week. Any advice on what this could be????? Does it sound like herpes or maybe just a sebacous gland or something??? Please help, I am so upset I have barely been able to function the past 2 days :(.
