Ouch! Penis pain!

So, I'm a 20 year old guy. Three nights ago, I lay down for bed, and as lying down is an erectile trigger for me anyway (no idea why), I decided to masturbate.

Everything was going fine until I suddenly felt a sharp pain at the left base of my penis (almost the part that goes further into the body, that can't be seen). The pain wasn't very severe, but I stopped for a minute to see what was going on. I sat up, and noticed that the movement caused pretty bad pain in that bottom-left area of my penis. I decided to sleep it off and see what happened.

The next day, I induced an erection to try to see what was going on. Being erect itself isn't very painful, but if I push my erect penis down or to the *right* at all, I get pretty sharp pain in that bottom left part. Moving my penis to the left, even pretty far (to where it would naturally begin to hurt because it's erect anyway), doesn't hurt me.

The pain feels more like a pulled muscle than anything else to me, and as an avid biker, I know all about pulling muscles in my lower legs and thighs.

My penis does hurt a bit at random times of the day, while I'm flaccid, however the pain feels deeper inside my body, as though it's coming from the pelvic muscle.

The pain has gotten a bit better, so I'm wondering if I just somehow "tweaked" something down there, and it's naturally healing. The other options that I've looked into seem far too severe for the pain I'm experiencing.

Is this problem severe enough that I should get my doctor involved? The pain really isn't that bad, but I'd much rather be able to not worry about erectile pain if I become sexually active again, etc.

I should mention that there is no swelling or discoloration in my penis, no veins that are out of place, no hard patches...nothing abnormal at all. Just the pain when I move to the down or right, and when I flex that one muscle that stops urination. Also, my urine and ejaculate are quite normal.

If it matters, I had my penis (rather tightly) squeezed between the opening in my boxers, instead of taking them off. I wonder if I severed blood flow enough to cause an issue? Though, technically, if I had blood flow, I wouldn't have an erection...

  • Hey, I am having the exact same problem. In my case, the pain didn't go away after 5 weeks for the injury. In fact, tomorry I am seeing an Urologist again (a different one from the Dr. who didn't give importance to the subject) and I've prepared a list of symptoms for him. Please tell me more of how have you felt this days to see if I relate things that have happened to me. contact me by mail to fergarcia2000 in g mail... This discomfort is driving me crazy... I hope that you have handled the situation better than I have..
