  • You didn't say if it's on your mouth or genitals. It rather has a mind of its own and will go where it wants. Avoid kissing anyone when you have the sore and that will stop it from spreading to another person. You can take lysine and avoid chocolate/peanuts/coffee. There are herpes diets online to help control it. Lauricidin is much better than life long drugs. You can ask for a blood test if you don't believe your doctor. What do you think it is? There are a lot of immune boosters at the health food stores, including mushroom combinations and homeopathic herpes formulas that will halt it from spreading.http://www.lauricidin.com/

  • Have you had genital sex? The man had herpes 1 on his genitals. You now have genital herpes. Was lab work done?

  • Put it in your hands and educate yourself. Get a copy of your test report so you'll have that for your records. It should be a blood test or an analysis of the sore. Confront the man who gave it to you. He may not know that he has it, giving it to another woman, and certainly needs to know and get blood work, too. He should also compensate you for your medical bills. I'm sure your God would want you to be pro-active and educated. This is a life-style change for you and when you have children, your doctor will need to know and you may have to have a c-section now. You have to inform all your potential partners now that you have herpes and it's a tremendous emotional charge.

I had a culture done at the clinic and blood taken from my doctor. It will be interesting to see both of the results... If there different which do you believe?

  • It's people with your attitude about it that go around infecting everyone else...If there's even a chance you have it, forget leaving in the hands of God, you need to get some treatment and make sure you take every precaution in the future.
