Nipple Discharge

Hi,

I'm a 17 year old male, and for what I think is a year or two now, I've been able to force a milky greenish substance from both nipples. The discharge secretes from what appear to be a few pimples on both nipples. For a while now, my right nipple has become a little sensitive. It's nothing that bothers me, but when I do apply pressure to my right nipple it feels sore. I can feel what seems to be a dilated tube of some sort directly under the nipple, and it feels as if it's connected directly to the nipple.

What I'm wondering is if perhaps I injured that 'tube' and caused the dilation. Should I be concerned about this? What are some things that I could do to treat this. Like I said, it's not bothering me at all really, only concerning me

  • Go to a doctor immediately. I am not trying to scare you or worry you, but a nipple discharge is not supposed to happen. Tell your parents right away, and make sure u tell them it has been happening for a few years. Also, tell them about the sensitivity. My husband is 43 and he has a strange growth on his left breast, he was sent to a dermatologist. I am still pushing for a better diagnosis. His breast is also sensitive, especially in warm weather. Check if you have lumps also, under your armpits and by your collarbone. Keep us informed.

  • Definitely go to your doctor cause this may sound totally crazy but, that is a sign of breast cancer and yes men can get breast cancer also. It is very rare but does happen so go get checked immediately. Even if it is nothing serious then at least you won't be worried anymore.

  • It would be wise to go to the DR. A friend of mine has experienced the same type of problem and it turned out to be hormonal. You need to talk to a professional.

  • Hi, My step mom once had the same thing, She went to Dr, After Dr, They couldnt explain it, so finally she got sent to a diffrent province, they still couldnt explain it, finally after 7 years of this, it went away, So you should immediatly go to the Dr and find out what it is, It could be 100% fine, or it could be something serious.

  • My husband said this had happened to him. We were told mastitis? But it is ALWAYS better to go to the doctor ASAP. Hope you find out what it is.
