I dont know where else to look for the answers to this so I'll see if anyone on here knows. I was in Biologie class today and we were talking about protein and the effects it has on cells. The teacher was saying how female hormone cells are made up of amino acides from protein and what not. So it got me thinking... Ive been a vegetarian for over 2 years. In the last 5 or so months I havent been menstruating regularly, mostly missing it every month except for the odd time it would barely last a day... and for longer than that I've been having very almost none or very low libido. I was wondering if this could be linked to not having enough protein in my diet. I've also lost weight but still eat VERY healthy. If anyone has any idea what's going on could they please let me know.
