Every month before my period I feel sore around my vagina, sometimes small pimple like bumps appear too. When I have my period it sometimes starts and stops or goes on too long. Recently I have been getting pain in my groin and also during sex. I have an attack every month where I need to urinate frequently - my lower sides ache and the area around my eyes sting. I went to the doctor about frequently urinating, and the sores and I was diagnosed with thrush or cystitus. Recently the symptoms have developed to pain in my public area and pain during sex. However I am not living in my own country and dont speak the same language as most doctors. I will take a bilingual friend of course, but I am only young and embarrased of all my symptoms.

  • hello, i am 35 yrs old and for 2 1/2 years ( started after my son was born ) i have had a simular problem, i would break out in the labia area with itchy, itchy rash and large knots (sores) it would go away about 2 days after my period started but like you i had heavy and longer periods i also had the same break outs on my chest, back ,fingers, neck and ears and every month it was the same, it would come back after period stopped. i am currently undergoing an experimental test to diagnose my symptoms ,my current doctor (gyn) is testing for a condition called auto immune progesterone dermatitis ..(very rare and not much info on the net about it) my understanding is that i have developed an allergic reaction against my own progesterone. if every other allergy is ruled out you may want to ask the doctor about this i would hate for you to have to go thru all the different doctors like i have, allergist, derm, gyn ..any way hope this gives you one avenue to try good luck
