  • i get these all the time. i had one that finally popped last night. the only thing that helps me get them to a head is to take hot baths followed by neosporin. the heat from the bath opens your pores and allows the neosporin to penetrate into the cyst. this will usually bring it to a head sooner and then it drains. keep applying neosporin to get rid of the puss and infection.

  • I am having the same problem however I'm 17 and sexually active, I do practice sex. I have this lump/bump thatI found yesterday in the shower...a week before my inner thigh (where the bump is) was irritated so I decided to take a shower...and thought nothing of it, just maybe my bottoms were too tight. But I also shave...so I thought that might be an ingrown hair...I'm worried if it might be cancer or something serious. But I wash daily, so I know its not from being..." under-cared" P.S.making an appointment ASAP.! But would like to know what this is :(

  • What is your defination of NOT sexually active? If you are having oral sex, you could have contracted an STD. (Sexually Transmitted Disease) Without treatment, symptoms could become worse and some STDs and even cause blindness if left untreated. Please tell your mother. Her finding out how you found the symptoms if far less painful that what the latter could be.how can it be a std i am prego n just got tested 4 std'z i have the same **** on me u should not scare the lil girl yes she should tell her mom n c whats going on but theres no way it std related

  • so im 13, obviously not sexual active and extremely too embarressed to see any kind of doctor or my mom or anything. i have a lump around the side of the right 'lip' and its been getting bigger. at first it was kind of soft but now its very hard. it doesnt bother me too much but it does make me nervous. it doesnt hurt tho. I do not currently have my period but it doesnt seem to come and go with my period. i was told i could maybe drain it myself, but im not sure if its a safe decision. i drained one other a long time ago and it left a bit of bruised, flat, raised skin. im not sure if it will stay a scar either. what could it be?

I just found the same kind of thing on the inner right wall of my vagina. It is maybe 5mm in diameter and gives a soreness feeling when i press on it. I have not had the same symptoms but my periods are mostly irregular and because I am bloated though I am expecting my period soon. Do we talk to our mom? or go to the doctor by ourselves? Should I go to a gynocollogist instead? or just let this growth pass? Thank you for any input.

  • . To the girls who are really young tell your mom you were washing in the shower and found it if you want. They don't have to know your "business" just that you found a lump. Maybe they can find a way to help you without embarrassment. you need to make sure it's not cancer or something else serious

Did you know that one in six US adults has high cholesterol?

  • I would tell your mother. I do know it may be embarrassing but this is your health and there could be something wrong in which case it is far better to risk embarrassment that your health! Please talk to her right away. I'm sure she won't be mad or disappointed- she will almost surely take you to the doctor to check it out. Don't worry- but just for your safety PLEASE mention it! I've have mentioned similar things to my mom with hesitation and her response always surprises me- she is just concerned for my health nothing more. Good luck!hi im only 15 and not sexual active but i have found two lumps on the inner walls of my vagina, the first is soft and a weird texture at the front and the second is hard and big at the back they arnt far up though. i have also been getting flu symptoms such as: bad chest/throat swolling glands and irregular periods. i am worried and dont know what to do as they are painful and my inner vaguna is swolen you can hardly put a finger in it. i dont want to tell my mam as she will wonder how i found it...... please please help me

They're everywhere. And the irregular periods. That's something totally chaste to notice. Then just tell her you have pain inside and you feel tight, sore, swollen, etc...that doesn't necessarily mean you shoved anything up there to prod around, but women are supposed to investigate their bodies if there is pain, swelling, etc. It won't sound perverse or anything like that if you phrase it as there was pain and you have other symptoms as well so you're concerned and would like a doctor to check it out. Don't feel guilty about anything or embarassed. Just consider your phrasing simply, not overanalyzed or anything. Besides, if she starts asking awkward questions just look her straight in the eye and rephrase the question placing her name in the sentance as if you want to know what she does with her vagina, haha. Then she'd notice that she's being weird and say okay to a doctor visit. Or even act as if she's talking directly to your vagina. Act indignent and say mom! I just don't feel well, don't ask miss giney about her business, geez. Yeah. There's all kinds of ways to handle akward, and the doctor is the right thing to do because you care about yourself and love yourself. So take care and talk to a doctor.

  • After 6 years (I only saw 2 doctors about it prior to this time, and they both acted like it was nothing) my gynecologist did a biopsy, and mine is basil cell cancer. That's easy to treat, but I can't believe it took 3 doctors to recognize what it was. I had full-body radiation treatments 30 plus years ago, so I get skin cancers in places no one else does.

  • I also have a problem kind of like these other people. I am 13 years old and have not yet had my first period. I have a dark hard bump in between the anus and where I pee from. I also have a migraine, sore throat, back pain, and I recently threw up. I am embarked to ask my mother, and have not slept and have had this problem for about a week. It hurt to touch it, and when I wipe after going to the bath room. Please please help me, just so I can understand what is happening.

I pushed down on it and it felt like a bruise, I did not shave or try anything to do this. It's about the size of a dime, and it really hurts. It is the same color as my skin but even just underwear and bare skin touching it is extremely painful. Please help.
