Well I just started taking my birth control pills named tri cyclen lo that the doctor recommended about a month and a half ago. So far I have not had any symptoms...I think. I have not had intercourse yet but have had oral sex and have come very close to intercourse (yes I know you cannot become pregnant from oral sex but it is the sperm coming into contact with the external area of the vagina or to the internal part by transferring from fingers). I was talking with the doctor and she said that it is good to take the birth control pill to prevent the risk of pregnancy that is supposedly a scary enough percentage to worry about without actually having intercourse. I have been having some bleeding but not of the vaginal area, it is from the anal area. Is that considered a symptom of the pill or should I investigate further, also is itching of the vulva a symptom too? And is it really necessary to take the pill at this time before even having intercourse even if the potential risk is there?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
