This is is a reoccuring problem for me, only it's a little worse right now. My penis since laste year has had hair follicles slowly move up from the scrodum. It worried me last year because I was also afraid I may have caught something at the time. I'm very glad I didn't. Anyways now it's happening a little further up the shaft about half way. Is that normal? I feel like picking at them but that'll only make it look worse I know. Also while I'm on the subject, my ***k's been a little itchy behind the head lately. Washing does help but it's become a tendency. Any suggestions?

  • I'm am 19, and I discovered the very root of my problem. I don't know who all is a believer, but my trivial skin alterations are psychosomatic. I'm a little O.C.D, anxious, and sometimes a hypochondriac. I joined because I do have several very real problems. Even for acting excessively worried I was right every time something went wrong with my body. However my conscience may have taken in too far. I need some chill-pills perhaps. If I had some supplements for my tinnitus, and manuka honey to heal the lining of my throat I could be much closer to stress free. Right now though I'm alsways dizzy and swallowing drink or food makes me want to gag. I cannot drink alchahol or inhale smoke of any substance. I'm also allergic to pot. Antic-falactic shock from not excepting that endeavor caused my tinnitus in fact. I'm just screwed. At least I'm unemployed right now. That should knock off some anxiety. Then again I'm bored, pathetic and no money equals no cure. This isn't you problem though.

  • Yes, some anti-depressants may do you some good.. as for the hair follicles, that is completely normal developing into a man penis! As for the itching, try not to use a harsh soap and maybe apply some A&D ointment to that spot for a few days, then if that doesn't work, use some cortisone cream,,, all OTC.

  • Yeah, I'll take care of it. I got to. I'm not depressed but I do feel a little over whelmed sometimes. Thanks for your input.

  • PLEASE stay very far from "cortisone cream" unless you are dying! Apply homeopathic "Resque Remedy" drops and drink some too.

  • I wasn't planning to, but now I'm curious. Is cortizone harmful to my genitals somehow?

  • I can tell you the worst stories about cortizone, on humans and animals. It can cause incredible damage, short and long term, and many doctors here say so too. As this is the internet, I can't really prove it or introduce you to victims and experts, but I need to warn - you take cortisone at your own risk. In particular it is very bad for skin, and genital skin is thin. Not to mention the risk to children you might later have. It has some place in emergencies though, to avoid death.:p

  • I recently had veins like that grow on me. It scared the **** out of me the day I noticed. I just went to take a piss when I woke up with morning wood and there was huge dark green veins that I'd never seen at least so clearly anyways. I'm learning the less I think about it the less serious it is. It's like **** it because I can still get laid.

  • the "hair folicles" could be whats called Fordyce's Spots. Completely normal. They are kinda like a pimple (have pus in them) but dont squeez them, cos this wont make them go away.Keep the area clean and dry thoroughly after gentle washing. Dont rub or use force when rubbing - this wont help either.hope this helpsMore info available on the net
