Hi, im 23 and I have a buttcrack bleeeding problem, a couple of days ago my lower back started hurting, right where my backbone ends I guess, just up from the *******e, I have like an additional little hole there I dont know, an old lover noticed it before and pointed it out to me, i didnt think it was a big deal, i might have had it all my life, Im not sure, but it could be, the thing is ive never had a problem or issue before with it, until my lower back started hurting, then today it felt like pressured, its not on my anus but above it, i kept like massaging it and rubbing it from over my clothing, not too harsh or anything, just a little bit to ease the tension, right where my back ends I guess and my butt begins, right in the crevice, and today when i took off my drawers i saw some stuff on it, I checked my butt and it had a little bit of a sticky substance and some blood, coming from that "hole" up from my anus, i cleaned it, a little bit of more blood came out, and put some alcohol on it cause i didnt know what to do, it stung but now feels better, the pressure from my lower back seems to have diminished dramatically, it sort of like drained, BUT i DONT KnOW exactly what drained, what it means, or anything!! ive been researching and found stuff from cancer to fissures, i know a doctor can only be the one to say exactly whatis going on, but im kind of worried, im in mexico city doing some work and i wont be back in the states for at least 3 months, and this one time i had a rash i went to a doctor and they misdiagnosed me BAD, she thought i had some intense VD but it turned out to just be a rash, had tests run and everything. I´ve never had anal intercourse, well no ones ever penetrated me or anything, and i dont know if it has anything to do with that, im just looking for some really specific, possible answers. I also read that i can treat something similar with tiacin or something like that thats for jock itch, but i hadnt read the "sticky substance, low blood thing from the crack" before, so before i go and buy some lotrimin, i want to know im just not going to make it worse, and itll give me some pointers to sort of suggest what may be happening to me.
what can it be? specifically?

  • Sounds like a pilonidal cyst. My husband had one of those when he was 17, my mom had one when she was younger too....Both of them had to have surgery to get it removed. Not big surgery or anything, in and out of there in a couple hours. Hope this helps! :)From emedicinehealth.com:A pilonidal cyst is a cyst at the bottom of the tailbone (coccyx) that can become infected and filled with pus. Once infected, the technical term is pilonidal abscess. Pilonidal abscesses look like a large pimple at the bottom of the tailbone, just above the crack of the buttocks. It is more common in men than in women. It usually happens in young people up into the fourth decade of life.
