I got stuck at work in march and went to the doctor on April 8th. I told my doctor what happened and he tested me for hiv and never mentioned that it may be too soon to tell. It was negative and I was so relieved but now Im not so sure.
My doctor never said I should come back to be retested or anything else.

I did get sick a couple of times afterward with sinus infections and a urinary tract infection but not neccessarily with the symptoms that are listed on this website. My kids have been sick with similar symptoms too so i dont know whether to worry or just dismiss it to it being allergy/cold season here. should I be worried?.
How soon can you tell?

  • You can look it up online but I think if you go at six weeks and then I would go a few months later. I think it could be after three weeks, but don't quote me. Go again for peace of mind.

  • I just went and got tested for HIV and they had told me that it can not show up for 90 days. So I would wait 90 days just to be sure....
