Hi. I'm a 26 year old female, and I'm having a really rough time with my period lately. Let me begin by saying my cycle has always been the same, very regular, and fairly light, lasting about 3 to 5 days at most. I started at 10, and for 16 years nothing changed. I had a tubal ligation 5 years ago, after my daughter was born. For the last year, my period has changed dramatically. My PMS symtons are greatly increased, as is my flow and the length of it. I also pass clots and bleed intermittently, sometimes not for hours, then end up soaking a pad or tampon. In November I had TWO one-week long periods. The last three months have been really bad. But what worries me most is I've lost weight without trying to. And my eating habits are the same, I LOVE to eat. As it stands I've lost 20 lbs. I see my doctor on the 22nd. What kind of questions should I ask her? I want to go prepared.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
