Embaressing! vaginal flatulence

I have a really embaressing problem...I do a gymnastic type sport and recently, whilst doing strength exercises that involve going upside down, my vagina lets out air and this can make a ******g noise or be silent. It doesn't smell or hurt but it sounds just like a ***t which is pretty embaressing. I'm 17 and not sexually active yet. It doesn't seem to have any relation to my periods except that when I wear a tampon, it doesn't happen (maybe because the tampon blocks the air?) Why has this begun happening and is there any way I can prevent it?!!!

  • This is sometimes referred to as a "vart". May be relieved by Kegel exercises to tighten the vaginal?pelvic floor muscles which can be weak even in a strong person who exercises like you. Kegels are practiced on the toilet as the pee stopping muscles are the ones that teach you to do them properly. Do a series of ten or so when not on the toilet and then work up to more as the muscles strengthen. This may solve the problem.

  • Kegals are they way to go. I started doing them at around 17 and I still do them, I just turned 27. It's just another exercise to make your body stronger.The reason for the air excretions aka Varts, aka Queve, is that when you are doing any exercise that has you putting your feet above your head or, rather your pelvis above your torso. Your abdomen muscle is moving up towards your chest. Which in turn is pulling your lower organs as well. Think of it as a rubber band, the more you pull one way the more the other side wants to stretch. So when you are up side down your are basically causing it to create a suction to pull air inwards. Many people relate Kegels with child birth. So being 17 and a virgin don't let it discourage you in trying it. Remember there are more muscles in your body than arms and legs.Also if you do want to learn how do this exercise, I would avoid trying to start and stop peeing on the toilet considering You could ultimately cause a bladder infection.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kegel_exerciseUnfortunately everything I have looked up on Kegel exercises are more to do with stopping urinary leaks or easier childbirth. But do not rule them out! It is a great exercise to start using.*I try to swallow then flex it gives my body a reference of what I want the muscle to do.

  • I've suddenly realised why my girlfriend *****s all over the place when she comes.She's just too slack,now I know the problem I can sort it out,think i'll just get a younger tighter model!!!!!!!!!

Actually, that's not urine...especially if it's only happening when you have sex. She is what men refer to as a "squirter". Look it up...and whatever you do, dont dump her over it!!!

  • From a male perspective and ,for real the benefits of kegels are not just for leaky bladders. My wife has good vaginal control and I have even been with a woman who had such muscle control she could actually prevent my penis from penetrating her if she liked, but could also "milk" me without even moving up and down.I think it ought to be reqired to graduate
