So back in December, either the 14th or 21st I can’t remember what week it was, I had unprotected sex. I felt fine up until the beginning of April (the 2nd) then I started to get a fever and my neck was a little sore. I had it for about 4 hours before I took some aspirin and went to sleep. When I woke up an hour later it was gone. The next day I started to get a sore throat and it lasted for 2 days. I felt fine after that for about a week and then I started to feel very tired and had no energy, but I thought it could be from the fact that I get about 4-5 hours of sleep a night. After being like this for around 5 days I started to look up my symptoms and it came to me that I could have HIV. After I read that I was very depressed and had stopped eating for the most part even though I would get hungry. I would sleep a lot and when I would get up in the morning I would feel ok for about 5-6 hours and then just feel drained even though I was not tired. I also had discomfort under both of my arms and my left under arm would hurt, but if I rubbed it it would go away for a little. After being like this for about 2 weeks I started to eat more because I knew that it was not good for me to not eat and it went away after one day of eating, this would be May 1st. Everything seemed to kind of go away and then about 3-4 days ago I started to get itchy skin. It is not that bad just kind of irritating. If I do not scratch it it goes away after about 30 seconds.

  • Blood tests are free for both hiv and syphilis. Go to your local county health department and stop being so careless with your health.

  • NO! With that said, the only way to be 100% sure is to get tested. Best wishes Kiera
