Right, I'm 15 years old and I have not tried any Sexual activities so far in my life. However, I have experienced some strange syptoms of sort, and I just want some reassurance that it's just me worrying over nothing - I can be very paranoid at times. Firstly, I shiver a lot - probably due to the cold weather I've been exposed too without appropriate clothing, but I know that this is a syptom of HIV so I thought I'd note this. I also have an inflamed Scrotum and have had a few flesh coloured spots appear there. They are very itchy at times, though not as bad as they used to be. This seems to have spread upwards and now I get itches around my upper body - they seem most common during tempature changes, such as when I get hot playing sport. I also seem to get a rash there that stays temporarily and then faded again - again usually on my stomach area. I also have experienced pains in my anus for going on 5 years now. I'm thinking this is a prostate problem or something as there has been blood on a few occasions. I also get penis pains at times, usually at the tip, and, very sparingly, pain when urinating. I also have to push to get the remaining urine out after around 5 seconds. Is this some sort of blockage? Sorry if I'm wasting peoples time here, but I always seem to fear the worst and HIV immediatly came up in my head. I am also feeling some muscle ache at the moment but that's probably nothing because I did some intense fitness work in PE at school. Please help me work out what's wrong with me.

Also, is Orthostatic Hypotension when you feel dizzy for a few seconds after getting up from a sitting/lying position? Is this to do with blood pressure?

Thanks in advance.

  • You are very anxious for the age you are. If you have had no sexual activity it IS NOT HIV. Shivering is not a sign of HIV.You have explained the reason for most of your "symptoms" : shivering because you are outside, redness when you are exercising, muscle ache after exercise. The likelihood of a 15 yo boy having a prostate problem is incredibly rare. I would recommend that you go to see your doctor though - a doctor would much better ease your anxiety after physically examing you then some faceless strangers online.

  • Thanks for your reply. Your right. I basically answered my own questions. I'm starting to get over it now, and I've realised what a stupid thought it was to think. I am going to see a doctor, but only to see if he can do something about the spots Thanks again for your help.

  • Much better choice...try this for anxiety: www.emofree.com It could just be heat rash...your thyroid could be off a bit, so you might want blood work to check your thyroid...you could have some type of urological situation, along with constipation or something...you need to discuss your concerns with your doctor but you should educate yourself on HIV. You have no worries there.

I do have one problem I forgot to mention however - there are tiny spots on my Penis. I know this is in no way serious as they've been there for ages, but does anyone know what they could be?
