Okay, so about 4 months ago I had tested positive for Chlamydia. (Originally the hospital thought it was a yeast infection, then the results came back odd.) I hadn't had relations with the person I contracted it from, and had to have the person I was sexually active with get checked. He tested negative. So I followed the doctor's directions, took the medicine and actually didn't have sex for about 3 weeks. Everything actually got better, no problems whatsoever.
Not too long ago, the guy I am with now told me he thought he had some kind of urinary tract infection; it hurt him to urinate, had strong itching sensations, very uncomfortable. Now I am starting to experience some of the same symptoms I had when I had chlamydia; it doesn't hurt to urinate or anything, there is a slight discharge which has an odd smell, though it really doesn't itch at all, just a little bit occasionally.
Does this mean I still have chlamydia? Did the medicine not work? Or did he give it to me? I am so confused, I had set up a GYN appointment for September 3rd, but I honestly do not want to wait that long.
