I was infected with HSV about 1 year ago, and have had constant irritation and vaginal itching since, that never seems to go away. My doctors say that there should be no symptoms like that inbetween the outbreaks in regards to HSV. They can't figure out why i am so irritated and itchy but i know something is not right. Can anyone help?!

  • I hate this disease. I think there are little symptoms that a few get that the others don't. You could try www.lauricidin.com and see if that helps you. You might have gotten something else, so I'm sure you've been screened for other stds. I would try urine therapy. That might give you some relief, but is gross. Try putting a little urine, the first of the morning, in orange juice. I imagine your nerve endings are constantly being irritated. I've been in chronic pain with it for a few years and nothing much seems to help it. I hate to think that I have to live this way the rest of my life, but it seems that way. I am working on a cure for it in the meantime. I think they have a vaccine that they could give (they have a chickenpox so why not for this) but want the money from the drugs to control it. If you haven't started on the drugs, that may help. I think any acupuncture may or may not give you any relief and it may be short lived if it does, so I've found that a waste of money.

Have you gone to the gynecologist at all? If so, what did they have to say? There has to be something out there to help the irritation :( would you mind chatting outside of this forum at all?

  • post your email...I'm working on something....but those two things I gave above will help, especially the Lauricidin. Homeopathic Rhus Tox might help, or a poison oak homeopathic preparation, too...
