I have a chronic itching that is driving me nuts. Hopefully someone can shed some light on what may be the cause. It has been going on for a couple months.
The focus of the itch is the underside of my testicles Mostly the area between them and my anus, but focused more towards the testicle area.
There is no visible rash or skin dis-coloration that would explain it.
It itches the worst at night and when I first awake in the morning. I sometimes scratch so hard I think I may draw blood.
On the testicle area itself I have what appears to be little blood clots under the skin. they are scattered about, not grouped at all. Since the skin is so thin you can see the various veins and here and there, I can see red spots. They are clearly under the skin surface and like I said, look like little blood clots.
This area does not itch or bother me other than it looks strange.
I have tried jock itch creams and they subdue the itching but it always comes back.
AS I have no current health insurance, a trip to the Dr. is quite expensive. So if there are any suggestions as to what this could be and what I could possibly do to treat it, I would welcome the help.
Of course I will go to the Dr. if absolutely necessary but am unsure how to proceed.
