I am 19, and majorly scared right now.
I have been away doing a summer camp in the US and whilst I was there I experienced irregularity in a couple of my periods and bad cramps and constipation/diarrhea. I put it all down to being in a different country, eating different food etc.
However since I've got back about 6 weeks ago I keep convincing myself I have some form of cancer. First it was cervical, then leukaemia etc. Ive been to the doctors for numerous problems and they keep putting every symptom ive ever had - and there have been a fair few down to stress. I feel like im not being taken seriously at all. I know I panic and am anxious but is this really the cause of all of my problems?
More recently I keep having pains in my lower abdomen and back and this was constant for a couple of days. My period was also really light. Any ideas if this is indicative of something serious. I know my chances of having cancer such as ovarian or cervical are really low at my age and Im still a virgin but Im driving myself crazy and dont know what to do as the docs dont seem to want to investigate anything further!
