Burns when I pee and sore eyes!

Recently I have experienced an itchy urethra, which has turned into a burning sensation when I pee! There hasn't really been any discharge! Also, yesterday my eyes started turning red and itchy and feel as though there is something in them (I wear contact lenses, so if I have something, it coudl've passed to my eyes without me realising just because my contact was uncomfortable and I fixed it)
I have been with my girfriend for 1 year and 2 months and have been faithful...I KNOW that she has been faithful too, we are very much in love! But now I'm scared that I have brought something into the relationship from previous sexual activity. Has anyone else had these symptoms? They seem so broad! I am currently waiting for results from the GUM clinic, but the doctor said initial tests didn't show excess bacteria present, so there is probably nothing to worry about! - he thought it was just yeast infection and drinking water would clear it up, but it has got worse!
Sorry for the long post!
I'm really worried that if I've got something my girlfriend will think I've cheated, but I would never dream of it!

  • Hi guys! Thanks for the responses! Everything seemed to clear up by itself! All I was given was eye drops for conjunctivitis! Everything else went away normally! All STI tests came back negative, but they've taken some blood tests that I have to wait FIVE WEEKS for the results! Looks like it was maybe just coincidence that I had all those things wrong with me in the first place! Thanks again!

  • http://www.surgerydoor.co.uk/medical_conditions/Indices/R/reiter.htm I was not treated for anything and the symptoms (Which didn't include sore joints) went away within a week...all my tests for STI's came back negative and I haven't had gastroenteritis! The doctor did take blood samples to test for arthritis and other stuff but there won't be results for nearly 5 weeks (don't know why it's taking so long). But I went to the doctor's twice and no-one has even mentioned reiter's syndrome to me! I feel absolutely fine now!
