Burning urination

Over two weeks ago i had sex with a lady I've known for some time now and we took a bath and she out in bubble bath and tbd next day I was experiencing itching and tingling on the head of my penis.
After a week of at home remedies such as tea tree oil baths and direct tea tree to penis I went to the dr and my urine came back clean and all was prescribed was a corisone cream due to irritation of the penis my dr said. I was doing the cream and on the 4th day I decided to use a qtip to get the medicine down into the penis and the next day burning upon urination got worse and still hasn't gone away.
The cream prescribed says use 2/3 daily but I've been using 6/10 daily. There is slight redness on the tip but when examined my dr said he didn't see anything alarming. Over the weekend I had sex and when ejaculating it really hurt.
What should I do?
