About 8 months ago I found a bump on my penis shaft. It is just above my scrotum, and sits in the fold between my penis shaft, and my scrotum. I think there was a little itchyness involved and that's how I found it. It is small and raised. Instead of going to a doctor, I decided to pick at it. I picked it off, and it bled alot, but was gone. I noticed about a week later that it had grown back. So I picked it off, and it grew back again. I started to look online about STD's, and came to my own conclusion that it must have been genital warts. So I tested it with vinegar, and after about 20 mins or so the bump looked as if it turned white. So a little more research on the internet led me to trying to burn off what ever it was with apple cider vinegar. The lunp never turned black like the information on the internet said, but the bump was a lot easier to pick off. The apple cider vinegar also burned the area around the lump, so I stopped using it. I have looked at images online of genital warts, and my lump looks similar to those. There are no other lumps or bumps on my penis, just the one. Is it possible that I have something else that looks like a genital wart? I think the internet is a bad place to go looking for info, but I chose not to go to a doctor at the time and now I REALLY regret it. I just figured that this lump was nothing, and it would just go away on it's own, but thats not the case. By the way, there seems to be no indent in the middle of it, and there has never been anything to squeeze out of it... It's just there. And I am scared to find out its a genital wart. It's not itchy anymore, and there was never any pain involved with the bump. As soon as the other burn goes away from the apple cider vinegar, I am going to the doctor to find out what it is.

  • A genital wart :(I suggest going to the doctor! After about a year, it has finally disappeared on it's own. And I have no other symptoms. Sadly, my girlfriend does. She has gone to the doctor, got them burned off, but they keep coming back :(
