Bloody discharge

Back in July, my partner and I were diagnosed with chlemydia. We had only been seeing each other a few weeks before we had sex and were diagnosed soon after. The doctor gave us azithromycin and we both assumed we were cured and resumed normal sexual activity about 2 weeks after the z-pack.

A few weeks ago, we began having symptoms again and went to get checked out. We both tested positive for chlemydia AGAIN! We spend a lot of time together and when we're apart, we spend a lot of time on the phone together (we don't live together though). I know I didn't cheat and he says he didn't either. SO, we're assuming we weren't cured the first time. We took another z-pack but the symptoms weren't really going anywhere. A doctor friend of his said that the z-pack isn't that strong and we needed to take a couple of antibiotics to cure ourselves. He prescribed us another z-pack, doxycycline, and metronidazol. We both finished our medicines before having sex again. We had sex again about 4 days ago.

Last night I had a thick, mucusy discharge that had streaks of blood in it. This morning, I had less discharge but it was pinkish in color. My stomach is cramping. I have an IUD and haven't had a period since I got the IUD put in in 2006. Could this possibly be chlemydia once again or is something else going on?
