My father is having flu like symptoms, ie, sever cough, mucus absess, body aches, chills...the past few days he's been collapsing. Just last night he collapsed and around 3am he woke up unable to breathe and collapsed once again. The medicine is not working, he was diagnosed a week ago, he's seen two doctor's, and still no progress. I think there just carelessly diagnosing him with the flu without further investigation. Is there a specialist he could see about this?

  • He could have a lung infection. If he is having trouble breathing it sounds like a pulmonary problem. Maybe he should see a Pulmonologist who can perform tests on his lungs.
