Hello, I am 16 years old, male. Last night around 10 pm. I drank a moderate amount of coffee. I started to feel light headed and didn't think much of it thinking the caffeine was effecting me strongly since I do not drink caffeinated drinks. I was up late, but eventually fell asleep around 2 am. I awoke around 3 am. with chest pain which seemed to be in my left pectoral behind the ribs, but when I rolled onto my back it then appeared to be in the dead center of my chest, between my ribs and lungs. I was extremely noticeable/painful when I inhaled or bent over, and had a related head pain.

This morning I got up around 8 am. still had the pain, fell back asleep. Awoke around noon, symptoms still there, along with extreme muscle soreness and joint aching. It has been like this since then. I took two aleve and they did help out the muscle soreness. Also not sure if worth noting but I took two acai berry pills last night and this morning.

What makes the situation even more strange is the fact im a wrestler and football player and would
like to believe I am close to top physical shape and do not often have cardiovascular/internal/lung pain etc.

I read this thread and thought most of this woman's symptoms Ive had or have and linked it.

I appreciate any and all help. Thanks.

  • OK, so today at 2 I went to wrestling practice, we ran bleachers for 30 minutes, I just about died.. I felt so out of shape, entire chest and side were hurting. We then ran some sprints and I was OK, kinda, but couldn't get enough wind and was kinda hurting. We did about 100/100 sit ups/push ups and they didn't seem to effect me. I have no idea whats going on, but I have another practice tomorrow and a duel Tuesday, Id like to feel better.I looked up bronchitis after my coach said that's what it looked like, I have all the symptoms but there is no cough, so I don't know.
