I have been dx with opacified sphenoid sinus disease. This summer I was dx with secondary adrenal insufficiency due to a pituitary that was not functioning. Now after reading a lot about this condition, I am convinced that my problem with adrenal insuff is related to this sphenoid sinus. I have been to the ms clinic at ucsf and had many brain mris and three lumbar punctures that show a central nervous system inflammatory prob. I am more sure than ever that these are all connected. It would be rare but possible. I am so sick of the trecks to different doctors who have no idea why I have all this stuff going on. Now I have done extensive research and discovered this. I am just hoping when I go to the doctor on Monday that he will listen to me. They are going to have to do something about my sinus disease as it has been confirmed by ct scan.

  • Hi I am a chiropractor in florida researching my self diagnosis of pituitary hypofunction. Because, when I read your web I remembered I have been diagnosed with a nidus in my spenoid sinus an had not made the connection. However, I was doing this research because a nutrition company that I use from time to time makes a glandular for this problem that I found was working very well for me. I was having trouble reordering and somehow ran into their web site. They are called professional health products phpltd.com. They make a product that seems promissing. As long as you are sure of your diagnosis. Several companies make a simular product, however PHP is known to make the best. Try standard process If you are not able to get anywhere with PHP. I would try to find a chiropractor that is certified in cranial work, problem may be caused by misalignment of cranial bones or cervical subluxation. A certified Applied Clinical Kinesiologist or a professional with a biomeridian machine may be very helpful to you with your problem. Biomeridian Company lists trained practioners in your area. Good luck Lisa Owen --- backforlife@bellsouth.net

  • I am secondary adrenal insuff., also caused by a pituitary tumor that is benign. Do you take steroids???? i suffer from sinus trouble. There is anterior pituiatary and post. Mine is post related. I think doctors just can't piece everything together without going in and looking. They don't know all that goes on. You should go to addisons disease.net and goin our support group for adrenal patients. It's a wonderful site.
