  • What are you like when you (hopefully) have a couple of days away from work? If you're better, there might be something there you're reacting to.Are you spending nearly all your waking hours indoors? If you are, it might be worth getting your vitamin D tested - deficiency is pretty common, and would be relevant. There's probably going to be something as well as the obvious cool weather and drafts.Best wishes.

  • Thanks Holistic for your reply - I no longer work there, but still have symptons - I feel like it is a live virus that resides inside my bronchi. I'm pretty sure I get enough vitamin D, one does not like to risk sun burn though.I thought I had got rid of it last summer with the help of fresh echinacae flower heads steeped in hot water. But it seems one day outside without a jumper in winter and it has returned, I'll definately be having more echinacea as soon as the flowers are ready, I suspect this might be my best option.

  • Hi Dance,There's an acupuncture point over upper trapezius muscle on the triple warmer meridian, used for conditions brought on by wintry weather. Cats claw is a possible herb, if you're happy to use it. I just started to look at whether it is an endangered species and found stuff on wecansavetheamazon you may want to look at too. I haven't read it yet.
