When I lay down on any side I will start having short choppy breathing.
If I get up breathing will return to normal in a few minutes.
There is also a dry cough that accompanies this just before short breath.

Any physical activity will bring this on also. Loading luggage in Bus, walking too fast, going up stairs. with physical activity there is a burning in the chest.

once agin when i stop breathing and burning will turn to normal in a few minutes.

Moved from Texas in April this Year to Las Vegas ???

  • I get the same thing, whenever i do everyday activities that make my heart do a workout. You sound like you have asthma. i've had asthma since I was born, you need to get your breathing checked so that you know whether you need an inhaler or something more serious. I get short breathing alot, and it's everyday, but i'm thinking thats when im having an anxiety or stress attack, wich also messes with my breathing. The reason probably why it stops after you stop what your doing is because your heart beats are calming. See a doctor and ask because if not asthma can really hurt you without an inhaler or not knowing whats going on.Good Luck :] And if it's asthma, you'll be fine just stay away from getting your heart rate up for a while until you ask your doctor.-sAbrinA
