I have a stuffy nose and bronchitis. I'm taking Zyrtec, Sudafed, & OTC's to try to alleviate symptoms, which begin about midway through a night's sleep. All mucus is clear & colorless, suggesting viral bronchitis, per my GP. I believe PND is the major problem, due to sinusitis, but my ENT man has just started pursuing GERD as the cause, & not treating any other symptoms, but prescribing Nexium. After two months of symptoms, I'm not sure whether it's worth getting a Helicobacter pylori test & an upper GI.
