I have had hamoppilus unfluenza and had it treated 2 times now but it keeps coming back and they are saying that ct scan and xrays are now normall what could be causing this
I have had tests for tb and farmers lung and now blood tests for white cells etc and many sputom samples looking for bacteria
always is either negative or shows hamoppilus but the sputom i bring up is very pus like and sticky !it all started after flu like illness after visiting someone in hospital now 6 months ago and i am otherwise healthy 37 year old but i do have reflux and barretts but would that cause recurring infections ?????

anyone please help:(

  • have your mannan binding lectin level checked. I live in the US and there is only one place hear that tests for it. That will be cause for recurrent infections.
