I have managed to bring it under control to a certain extent though. My doctor diagnosed post nasal drip and I now have been prescribed a nasal spray called Fluxinase. I take it every day and also it seems to help to take it if one of the coughing attacks comes on suddenly. Hope that this helps, might be worth a try :)
