Hey guys! zup?!
I think my asthma is getting worse. Last year, I'm always at the college clinic of the university because of asthma attack, I almost passed out because of oxygen-loss. Luckily, the nurse always attend to me promptly. I can't even attend the class. I rarely use my inhaler because of the side effects like palpitations & worst rapid breathing & I can't stand it, I can't concentrate or focus on what I am doing. Any suggestions on how can I better-manage my asthma w/o using inhalers? A natural treatment perhaps. Thanks alot!

  • I used to have asthma, and haven't used an inhaler in over 15 months and currently have NO asthma symptoms whatsover. I tried NAET - Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Techniques, and it changed my life. It's not for everyone, but I used to have an asthma attack if I got within ten feet of the juniper bushes outside my house. I don't anymore - it's amazing! Aside from NAET, please research an herb called coleus forskohlii...it is an amazing ayervedic herb that is useful for asthma. Also, Traditional Chinese Medicine is very helpful for asthma and other chronic upper respiratory problems. I am a licensed acupuncturist and this treatment would help my asthma symptoms when they were flaring up. But NAET is the only treatment that has actually reversed my asthma. Asthma is a very serious condition. It is important to work with your doctor and hopefully find one who is aware and interested in natural medicine...but do research NAET and acupuncture and the coleus forskohlii. Best wishesDOM

  • You make it through without using meds/inhalers?that's amazing! I think I should try what you've just said. If I have asthma attack I rarely use my inhaler but I often use nebulizer or oxygen treatment as an alternative. Thanks alot for your suggestion. I guess you're a doctor.

  • Oh I see. .thanks! I'll visit the site. By the way, I'm just curious. Everytime I cough even accidentally or unexpectedly I often wheeze but then after a few minutes I'll feel better again without taking my meds. Why is that?
