Hello, I am new to the boards. I have seen afew entries on mac and was wondering if there is anyone beeing treated still at this time. I do not have aids, and was told that I became infected in Jan. I was treated in the hospital for a simple pnemonia. Later I learned that I had mrsa pnemonia and was put on IV antibiotics to get rid of this, then I was told that I had caught psedomonas infection, and again more iv antibiotics.I have finally got rid of the mrsa and the psedomonas and now I have to start the mac meds again. I also had problems on the rifambin. The ethambutol is 6 tablets all at once and it has eaten my tummy . Does anyone have any good advice.???
