I wasn't sure where to put this, but Respiratory seemed to fit since phlegm tends to involve that part of the system in our body.
To get basic info out of the way, my mom smoked for 18 years, but I have never smoked personally.
When I am around smoke, I get sick and it feels like an iron grip around me throat.
However, I have not been around smoke for several years now but I have a problem that I'd like to address or know about.
I currently do not have a cold or flu etc... but every morning I cough up phlegm.
I wake up and there's a hunk of phlegm waiting to be spit out.
It's usually a combination of yellow-clear saliva, and sometimes green with a yellow/brown tint.
I have a photo of what I spit up this morning.
