Hypoxia ?

I will keep the initial details short but please ask for clarification. I had operation under General Anaesthetic in Feb 08 and I believe that neck may have been twisted during that, in any event my neck is noticeably more
"soft" and not firm as it was from weight training before operation. (I had hernia repaired and lymph node in groin removed so nothing to do with neck area) Neck skin is also reddish and I have ache in neck area.

Long and short I have two main symptoms, one being red eyes in morning and
other is extreme tiredeness in morning or if lying down even during day I become very tired. I was never like this before.

Dr carried out many blood tests but all negative but now says MAY be
hypoxia ,which kind of was what I thought might be . Would that explain red eyes in morning that go after getting up ? Also seem to be coughing a little white/clear mucus but not great amounts.

Any ideas as to what this may be and whether General Anaesthetic
could have effected me this way ?
