My 7 year old son has symptoms of epligotitis. Could this be mistaken as the dive reflex? Does anyone know if it can be triggered by a hot shower or steam which we find is approx 98% of the time that these episodes occur. Also my son explains that he gets really cold just prior to these episodes. On a few rare occasions these episodes just occur. Does anybody have any insight on this? We cant get a diagnosis.
