when my dad passed away the death cert said he died of bilateral pneumonia. when he went into hospital he had stroke like symptoms. ie couldnt talk , eyes unresponsive. is this typical of end stage pneumonia or could he have had a stroke too but it was the pneumoia that took him?
thanks in advance

Pnemonia will set in from the buildup of fluids in the lungs, it very well could have been he had a stroke, which caused him to be bedridden, and ultimately ended up in pneumonia............
