For the last four years I've had this lingering congestion that feels like it's in my lower throat/upper lungs. I had a really horrible cold/cough four years ago that I suspect was either pertussis or bronchitis but never got diagnosed. Ever since then the congestion never seemed to go away all the way. Almost constantly, I feel like I need to clear my throat. Coughing kind of helps sometimes, but not much. I cough up some gunk, consistently present but not heavy, but there always seems to be more. I don't seem to have other enduring cold symptoms. Doctors pretty much ignore my complaints about the congestion.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
