The past month or so I have had constant chest dicomfort, either its sore or I have palpitations and panic like feelings. I get a pain that could last 5 to 10 mins.yesterday i got a peircing sharp pain straight through my chest, took my breathe away. I used to get panic attacks 1 every couple of months. But recently I have been feeling like I hav heart flutters and just feel awful panic feelings. Also I was told my pulse was very low. I don't exercise an awful lot, so thought this was strange. I am 21 years old and recently I have had a lot of stress in my life. Could I just be really stressed or should I see my doctor?

  • POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) may cause chest pain, palpitations and panic attacks (due to the increased levels of noradrenaline), it isnt common with ones with it to have BP issues such as low BP or other BP issues. Suspect POTS if you have a lot more issues when you are upright or standing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postural_orthostatic_tachycardia_syndrome
