I'm a 29 year old female, very active and I don't smoke.
I've ben experiencing a sharp pain in my chest when I breathe in only.
The pain isn't stopping me from breathing in, however the pain is worse when I take a deep breath (the more I try to breath in the worse the pain gets)
Anyone clues?

  • Hello, I am a 40 year old female, that has had the same symptom, when I breath in only it hurts and hurts again every time I breath in only, and then it goes away, it started doing it when I was 37 years old and has continued doing it very couple of months I used to take birth control and smoker for 12 years and I quit smoking for 5 years now. How often does your symptoms come and how long do they last? Will pulmonary embolism go away on its own?
