The past four months have been terrible. I have "had" a stomach virus, a kidney infection, irritable bowel syndrome, and a chest virus. Or at least, that's what I've been told my presumptuous doctors that cannot find an answer to my problem.
I've had occasional abdominal pain that continues to get worse. I've had chest pain that involves occasional moments throughout the day where I get a terrible, terrible pain in my left lung that forces me to take short, rapid breathes until it goes away after a minute or two. I've had these symptoms since November, and they're getting more frequent, more painful, and more overwhelming everyday. The breathing instances, which used to happen only twice a day or so, now happen every thirty minutes. CT Scan and XRay of my chest shows no masses. IBS medicine (antispasmotics) initially took away abdominal pain, but that might have been a placebo effect. In the past two weeks I've acquired constant, and gradually more painful, dull pain in the lower back. Common blood tests show up normal. Steroid and anti-inflammatory medicine packs proved ineffective.
I've joined this community in hopes that someone might have once been in my same scenario, because I really need an answer. Pain medicines are ineffective against whatever this is, and I really cannot live like this.
