I have had asthma all my life. I am considered a severe chronic asthmatic. I used to have the usual symptoms, caoughing, wheezing, gasping for ait ect... In the last few years I do not have these symptoms. I loose my voice. I was told that is because I dont have enough air to produce a voice. I live in Colorado close to where the major fire is burning. I dont have a voice, get short of breath when I move around much, have aheadache and itchy eyes. Because I dont wheeze or cough now is this till a sign of an asthma attack? I have been told that if I let an attack get bad my lungs may not be able to pull me out of it. This scares me but I cant afford a doctor right now. I take advair. Is that enough. I also have a nebulizer and it helps for about an hour then I loose my voice again. I havent been out of the house since last friday because of so much smoke in the air. I am taking it easy but dont seem to be getting much better.
