When I was a kid, I had very bad sore throats that made me very ill. I was often on antibiotics and I was often very tired. I didn't like my school doctor at all (he frightened me) and I'd only ask to see him if I felt really bad. Whilst being checked out again by this school doctor (I was about 12 years old) he suddenly looked very worried one day after seeing my throat again and he immediately checked my head for any scabs. He asked me if I had found any scabs on my scalp as it was very important to tell him as it was the symptom of something very rare that needed to be treated. I lied to him and said that I had found nothing whereas in the morning before seeing the doctor I found 2 or 3 scabs on my scalp when I was brushing my hair. I never told him or anyone about this as he had completely frightened me. Today (nearly 30 years on) I still think about this. I had my tonsils taken out when I turned 18 and I feel a lot better today though I always feel so tired and wonder if there is a link to this old story.
Could I have some advice on this, I would be very grateful, thank you.
